ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for Estonian Scholarship Fund, the applicants must meet all the given criteria:

  • Show their academic merit in addition to financial need.

Represent one of the below-mentioned categories:

  • Exchange students who are from the Tallinn Technical University in Estonia as mentioned in the exchange agreement inked between the Tallinn Technical University and the University of Toronto.
  • Exchange students who are from Tartu University located in Estonia as mentioned in the exchange agreement signed between Tartu University and the University of Toronto.
  • Other students from Estonia and studying at the University of Toronto.
  • Canadian students doing work linked (associated) with the Chair of Estonian Studies.
  • Candidates from Canada (Canadian candidates) undertaking research on Estonia from a Humanities or Social Sciences perspective, and on interactions of Estonians with other people of Eastern and Central Europe.

his is to be noted that all in-course awards will be provided to the students in the Winter term. Remember, only one application is required. You could apply for various (multiple) awards on one U of T Student Award Application Form. You need to make sure to check the criteria prior to choosing the award. 

Decision’s Notifications of the Estonian Scholarship Fund

If you are awarded this scholarship, as a recipient you will receive your award letter from the Registrar’s Office of the University, normally one month after the deadline for applications.

Your award letter will consist of information regarding the award payment. It has to be kept for future reference.
