Have you tried to copy a file from your device to PC but don’t know where the file is saved as it was downloaded from a source whose saving location you don’t know or you don’t even know the name of the file like most WhatsApp images and screenshot.
In this short tutorial, we would be explaining how you can get the exact location where some files are saved in your phone.
This can be done with use of Xender app. You check the location of all files with Xender except installed apps although you can check the location of apk files.
To do this:
- Open Xender app or install from Google Play Store of not installed
- Swipe to any file whose location you want to know
- If it’s an image, scroll to photos and hold down the exact picture, it’s location will pop-up on your screen
- If it’s any other file, you can check the music tab of its a song, video tab for a video, and other files can be found under the file tab, just hold and the directory would pop-up on your screen.
