Over the years, there have been massive contributions in Nigeria through mainstream media in raising awareness for the health benefits of CBD, a non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.
We put together a CBD Oil Survey for Nigerians, as a part of our contribution towards this cause.
Notable people like Gov. Akeredolu of Ondo state have been at the forefront of campaigns for the legalization of hemp cultivation in Nigeria due to its economic and medicinal uses.
CBD oil and hemp-derived products possess health benefits that improve the quality of life.
The CBD market is relatively new and, there is barely enough information about its use.
There are lots of unanswered questions about the health concerns of CBD Oil and how it is consumed here in Nigeria.
CBD Oil Use Among Nigerians (Survey)
Just before January wrapped up, we got started on a project to get first-hand information from people who have used or currently use CBD Oil in Nigeria.
We put together a series of questions in a survey, ranging from user demographics, benefits derived from CBD, health concerns, thoughts on the legalisation of hemp cultivation, and others.
Our goal is to collect feedback and quality information from as many CBD Oil users as possible to get a broad overview of how CBD is used here in Nigeria.
The results would be analysed and published, then pushed to mainstream media channels to take up these findings.
Why Is This Survey Important?
This survey provides enough quality data to promote and encourage the use of CBD Oil here in Nigeria.
The results would help raise awareness for CBD Oil and help Nigerians live healthier and better by treating the root causes of health problems.
Not only does this promote the use of CBD, but it also gives brands of CBD Oil and other hemp-related products insights and a better way to incorporate these findings into their outreach and marketing strategies.
Brands can learn about the most popular CBD products used by Nigerians, the type of products that appeals to genders, specific age groups, and more.
So What Are The Next Steps?
To curate enough quality data to pitch to media channels to take up these findings, it would require a minimum of 100 responses after sorting through the data received.
We need your help to hit this threshold. At the time of writing this blog post, we have only been able to curate 30 responses after eliminating duplicate information.
We would love to get your support on this project.
If you know people who have used or currently use CBD in Nigeria, help us get the word out.

Follow the link below and answer the survey questions takes about 3-5 minutes to complete.
Afterward, share the links with as many people who have used CBD to get feedback from them.
The more we spread the word, the faster we’re able to collect information.
It doesn’t require you to share your name or other very personal information.
Thank you so much for your time, looking forward to seeing your survey response.
